Jump to Provide Publicity for 5m Books Imprint Unbreaking
In response to the rapid and radical transformation required to reverse climate breakdown, and the urgent need for systemic change across our financial and corporate sectors, 5m Books is today launching its imprint, Unbreaking and has chosen Jump to publicise its launch.
Why Unbreaking? Earlier this year 5m Books published Six Inches of Soil, How to Heal Our Soils, Ourselves, and Our Communities Through Regenerative Farming, based on the film. Jump’s Kate Ford was the publicist for the film, which received rave reviews and is now available to watch on Prime.
Jeremy Toynbee, 5m Books Director says, “As we became involved with the film, we looked more deeply into the enormous challenges and solutions required to reverse the damage humans have inflicted on the planet since the Industrial Revolution. I began to join the dots and realised that the changes in agricultural practice were reliant on transformations in many other aspects of our systems. Unbreaking provides a literary space to connect economists, political scientists, sociologists, systems thinkers and most importantly those working and campaigning for change.”
“Jeremy is creating an incredibly important publishing platform with Unbreaking, bringing different pieces of the puzzle together, says Kate. Storytelling through books, magazines, papers and film is a vital part of the climate transition and the move to a more equitable world and we’re excited to have been chosen to be the PR agency for this new project.”
